A recent Google customer said their Momentum Solar install was smooth and that the install crews were clean and courteous while working on the home. On its website, the company describes itself as a solar company that installs home solar systems with battery backups for homeowners across the US. A recent customer said Casey Mrozek explained things well, was not pushy and was willing to walk away if they were not interested. In a 2024 review, a customer said the company installed when it said it would and that the wiring in the attic was protected and not routed in some weird way. “Momentum uses micro inverters, as do the other companies I've talked to so far.”
“i actually had a pleasant convo with their canvasser tonight, not the salesperson.”
“Momentum was by far the most aggressive. I blatantly told the kid no and still wound up with an appointment scheduled for the next day.”
“I recently had a call from momentum and was told that they will price match tesla. Stupidly enough i went for it. 2 days later a salesman( tall kid around 23) knocks on my door and tries selling me a 8kw system for 53k. No pricmatch at all.”

EDIT - 6 years into having a Momentum-installed system, we are having problems with an inverter. Enphase, the manufacturer, sent us a replacement at no cost, saying the installer is responsible for labor to install it. Momentum points the finger back at Enphase, saying they're only responsible for 'workmanship' as part of their warranty. Wrong. The sales person, Michael, promised (and I have in writing) full warranty; parts, labor and workmanship. So now I'm having to either pay installation labor myself or fight Momentum on this. Folks, get every detail in writing and ultimately, stay away from Momentum. It's all fine, until it's not... Big lesson learned.
We had a great experience! They answered all our questions and helped us get solar set up for our home without being too pushy like some sales ive experienced. Efficient and quick set up! We are very happy so far!
Casey was wonderful! He was so patient will all my questions and answered everything I asked. He knows his stuff and I recommend him for all of your solar needs!
Julie Carlson is an excellent representative for Momentum. She was very knowledgeable about your product and each component. She was respectful, pleasant and a very good listener. She offered several options and could explain each in detail. Unfortunately, we have a lot of tree cover and solar would only be able to replace about 10% and the placement of the panels would be very obvious from the street, for minimal benefit. As a result, we have decided not to pursue solar. Again Julie is a very positive face of your company.
They really should have stars taken away for this behavior. We have a no solicitors sign, but he rang door bell and knocked anyway. Told him no solicitors via the camera microphone and he refused to leave. I asked for his permit and identification he would not provide either. I closed the door and he proceeded to yell to his boss and go to knock on my door again. Told him to get off my property and he refused, I had to push my door open as he was holding my storm door from opening more. We called the police department and he refused to walk off my property at which point I began to escort him off my property and he proceeded to tell me to do sexually explicit things. Are these people you want to do business with, or have them in/on your house? I think not!
