Moriarty Electric's own site lists air-cooled and liquid-cooled generator service, heat pump and mini-split service, and residential and commercial electrical work. A recent customer said the company installed a Generac generator during a New Hampshire winter, thawing the frozen ground to finish it, and also updated the indoor lighting with track lighting, new fixtures and switches. A recent customer said Paul cleaned the inside of each split unit and the condenser, tested every unit and explained how to run the systems efficiently. In a 2025 review, a customer said Tyler came out the same day for a generator that would not start, adjusted the valves, then found low voltage and cleaned the slip ring after a significant disassembly. A 2025 customer said the company worked out the placement of a Samsung mini-split, then installed a solar array and a battery storage system for whole-home backup. A recent customer said Moriarty missed an appointment with CMP to install a meter and charged $474 more than the original quote, and added that Moriarty did make it right in the end. In a 2025 review, a 10-year customer said no one showed up for a generator service and the person on the phone claimed the work had been done outside. A 2023 customer said several visits failed to diagnose a starting issue on a Generac 14KW standby generator. In a 2022 review, a customer said a propane hose the company installed started to fall apart and Moriarty wanted to charge to replace it. The Maine state registry lists electrician license MS60016809, held by Mark E. Moriarty, as active.
They do good work when they decide to show up. We had an appointment with Moriarty and CMP to install our meter to the house. We were home, CMP came, Moriarty did not. To add insult, we were charged $474 more than the original quote. People take time off work to get these things done but apparently their time is more valuable than that of their customer. I feel it is only fair to let people know that Moriarty did make it right in the end. Thank you.
★★★★★ I highly recommend Moriarty Electric. Paul provided outstanding service on our split units (A/C and heat). He thoroughly cleaned the inside of each unit as well as the condenser, and tested every unit to make sure everything was running properly. He took the time to explain how to run the systems efficiently, which was genuinely helpful. Paul was professional from start to finish and offered sensible, practical solutions to all our questions — no upselling, just honest expertise. This is the best service we’ve experienced with our split units. I highly recommend Paul and would absolutely request him again. Thank you to Moriarty Electric!
After living with my new Generac generator and electrical upgrades for several months, I can confidently say that choosing Moriarty Electric was one of the best investments I've ever made. Installing a generator during a New Hampshire winter isn't easy, but the team literally thawed the frozen ground to complete the installation. Their dedication, planning, and workmanship were impressive from start to finish. Every interaction with Moriarty Electric exceeded my expectations. The sales experience was refreshingly honest, informative, and completely pressure-free. Customer service was exceptional at every point of contact. Every electrician who came into my home—regardless of their role—was professional, respectful, patient, and highly skilled. They answered my many questions, responded promptly to my emails, and were incredibly considerate of the fact that I work from home. They even accommodated my requests for quiet during client sessions and meetings without hesitation. In addition to installing my Generac generator, they updated my indoor lighting with beautiful track lighting, new fixtures, and switches. The craftsmanship is outstanding. I genuinely enjoyed the company of the electrician who completed much of the interior work. It's rare to find professionals who are not only experts in their trade but also kind, personable, and a pleasure to have in your home. Living alone, the peace of mind this generator provides is invaluable. The gentle hum of the generator means that when the power goes out, my work doesn't. My internet stays on, I don't have to cancel clients or rearrange my schedule, and I can continue working without missing a beat. Knowing my home is protected and that the system is backed by a 10-year warranty gives me tremendous confidence that I made the right decision. Moriarty Electric is the definition of professionalism, integrity, and quality workmanship. Every person I interacted with represented the company with kindness, courtesy, and genuine pride in their work. They are sophisticated in their approach, meticulous in their craftsmanship, and worth every hard-earned penny. If you're considering a Generac generator or electrical work, I recommend Moriarty Electric without hesitation. Thank you to the entire team for an exceptional experience from beginning to end.
Had my outside heatpump compressor and one inside head unit thoroughly cleaned. Good price, prompt service, and "well done." Would highly recommend.
