- Tick and mosquito control — a 2-year customer near swampy woods
- Cancelling service — one customer got a $200 collection notice
Mosquito Joe of Hingham-Easton sprays yards for mosquitoes and ticks, and on Google it holds 4.9 stars from 175 ratings. It is based in Norton, and its own site lists a service area that includes Abington, Attleboro, Bridgewater, Brockton, Easton, Fall River and Hingham, among other towns. One customer whose property sits near thick swampy woods says they have relied on it for the past 2 years to control mosquitoes and ticks in the backyard, and that the people who come out relock the gate and ask which areas to focus on. Another says it has been doing their yard for years and will come out for an extra spray if mosquitoes show up between sprayings; a third says that during extreme high activity it does extra sprays. One customer likes that the product is all natural and says the odor after thirty minutes is not strong, so they could sit outside the same evening. The complaint is about cancelling. A customer writes that the tick and mosquito spraying didn't work, that they called multiple times to cancel yet the service kept showing up, and that they then got a notice from a collection agency and paid $200.
