Mr Build American Remodel Co Inc

Mr. Build American Remodeling has pulled 11 permits across seven Massachusetts towns — Danvers, Marblehead, Groveland, Topsfield, Needham, Malden and Burlington — the kind of spread that points to a full-service remodeling outfit rather than a one-town crew. The Bedford company is run by Richard O'Brien Jr., and its Massachusetts home improvement contractor license (#113178) is registry-verified active. Those permits cover decks, kitchen and bathroom renovations, siding work and an addition — a mix its HomeAdvisor listing echoes, describing the company as focused on additions and kitchen remodels alongside decks, seamless gutters, vinyl siding and windows. On BuildZoom, that same permit history produces a score of 96, placing the business in the 80th percentile among the roughly 139,000 Massachusetts contractors the platform tracks — a permit-based figure, not a customer rating. The company's own HomeAdvisor listing notes it accepts credit cards and offers free estimates, and says it speaks Spanish, but states plainly that it does not offer warranties or emergency service — worth asking about directly before scheduling any work. It cites 42 years of experience as its own claim. The permit history spans decks, kitchens, baths, siding and an addition in similar numbers, without one specialty standing out over the rest — a reasonable call for a homeowner planning one of those specific projects. Confirm the scope, timeline and warranty terms in writing before signing, since none are stated up front.
