Mr. Shower Door

Mr. Shower Door is a shower door business: a local news site has described it as a company that manufactures and assembles shower and tub doors, with locations in Stratford and Eastchester, N.Y. The company says it has been in business 45 years, lists Stratford, Norwalk and Eastchester as its service area, and says its team handles measurement, custom fabrication and installation. On Google it holds 4.8 stars from 32 ratings, and its BBB grade is A+. A recent customer who used the company for a master bathroom remodel said it was prompt with scheduling and professional in both the quote and the install, and that Scott assisted the project at every stage. A recent customer said the person who came to measure was knowledgeable and professional, and that everything lined up after two men did the installation. A recent customer praised the sales, communication, installation and clean up, and said they would use the company again for a second bathroom. A 2026 customer said the company came and measured within 2 days, sent the quote the next day, and that the installers wore booties in the house; it was that customer's third shower door from the company. A 2026 customer who had a glass shower/tub door installed said a visit for an adjustment was scheduled promptly after the initial installation, and the technician arrived on time and explained what needed to be done. A 2026 customer used the company for two very large primary steam showers. A 2025 customer said two tub enclosures were installed in the STA-5 design with 3/8-inch glass, and that removing the shower curtains and rods made the rooms appear much larger. A 2025 reviewer described new and repaired shower doors at Homes for the Brave's Madaras Home for Women Veterans. A 2024 customer said another vendor had removed the glass doors during a tile job and put them back badly, leaving a leak; Sean came to look, remembered putting the door in about 15 years earlier, and the repair people fixed everything in an hour or so. A 2023 customer gave two stars, saying a shower door was cut too short and kept splashing water out from the bottom. That 2023 customer said the company came out twice to try to fix it, and that it never responded to a BBB complaint asking for a replacement door. A 2018 Houzz customer said water sprinkled out onto the floor through the space where the doors overlap. Connecticut lists its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0534853, as expired, held by Mr Shower Door Inc.
