MSL Landscaping

MSL Landscaping is a Lynn, Massachusetts landscaping crew run by Moises, sometimes written as Moses in reviews, offering landscape installs, patios and walkways, sod, mulch and clean-ups, retaining walls and tree work. The Angi and HomeAdvisor listings note eleven years of experience and that Spanish is spoken. Customers describe a crew that answers quickly, shows up when promised and works hard. In a December 2025 review, a homeowner said the quality was top-tier, with real craftsmanship, clean edges and no corners cut. That summer, one customer had a patio built quickly at a fair price, another had arborvitae planted and said the team clearly knew what they were doing, and a third said the crew reviewed the mulch and clean-up job with them and came right away. In April 2025 a homeowner messaged to ask about a same-week slot, got a fast reply and had the yard and pool area cleaned. The larger installs come from earlier reviews. In 2021 a gardener described 180 feet of pathways dug and laid around flower beds, finished in the promised three days in 90-degree heat. A 2020 customer had a 40-foot retaining wall and a patio built after significant excavation and said Moises sets a very high standard. A 2019 reviewer had a lawn regraded and hydroseeded, a small retaining wall built and a fall clean-up done, and said he comes back if you are not fully satisfied; another 2019 homeowner said the crew transformed a yard left as a jungle after eight years of neglect. In early 2020, a customer whose usual landscaper had not shown up for six weeks said MSL called within an hour of the request and cleared the yard before the snow. Price and communication come up often: a 2018 reviewer said the estimate was the lowest they received, a 2023 customer praised proactive status updates, and 2019 and 2020 reviewers said the crew listened and suggested alternatives. The two ratings below five stars, both from 2019 and 2020, still describe honest, on-time work. Google shows a perfect five stars from six reviews dating from 2024 to December 2025. Angi and HomeAdvisor both show 4.9 from 23 reviews, but the two profiles are one review set published twice, and the accounts there run from 2018 to October 2023. No licence or ownership statement appears on any of the listings, so ask directly about insurance before hardscape or tree work. For yard clean-ups, planting, sod and mulch, and for patios, walkways and retaining walls, MSL's customers across seven years were consistently pleased with the speed, price and result. Get the scope and timeline in writing for hardscape jobs, and confirm insurance for anything involving excavation or trees.
