When a customer's lawn tractor broke, Joe offered to return and mow the grass. In a May 2020 Angi review, the customer said he followed through, cutting almost 1.5 acres in 45 minutes. That customer had used My Lawn Guy's Fertilizer & Turfcare for five years of lawn fertilization and praised Joe for explaining how to address lawn problems. The review also described a visit for grub treatment. My Lawn Guy's describes itself on Angi as a locally owned, owner-operated lawn and turfcare service with no subcontractors, serving the Greater Westfield, West Springfield and Agawam areas. Angi lists fertilization, aeration, weed and grub control, dethatching, sodding, overseeding and turf maintenance among its offerings. Its two Angi reviews date to 2011 and 2020, and Angi lists a 5-star average from two ratings. In the November 2011 review, a customer described the price as a little higher than some other lawn-care providers, while still calling it reasonable and saying they liked the service.
Joe at My Lawn Guy's has been fertilizing my lawn for 5 years. He has a wealth experience in resolving lawn issues and takes the time to explain the best approach. He makes me feel like I am his only customer with the service he provides. Last week he came by to take care of the grub treatment on my lawn and when we were talking it came up that my tractor had just broken and I wouldn't be able to mow my lawn for a week. He offered to come back this week and mow my lawn for me if my tractor was still inoperable. Today he called and told me he would come by to mow my lawn. He arrived around 4:00 pm and had the lawn mowed within 45 minutes, a feat in itself because I have almost 1.5 acres of grass. Joe exemplifies what is great about our local businesses by going above and beyond what is required. I give Joe my highest referral for the services and products he supplies.
His price is higher than some of the other lawn care people, but he is good. His price is reasonable and a little higher, but I liked him.
