Natick Fireplace is a fireplace and stove retailer with installation and service work, and its website says The Fireplace Shops has served eastern Massachusetts for more than 40 years. The BBB reports 68 years in business and an A+ grade, while noting the company is not BBB accredited. Its Houzz reviews show a 4.0 average from four reviews, and Google shows 4 stars from 58 ratings. In a 2022 Houzz review, a customer praised the staff member who answered questions while helping them order a gas fireplace. A 2017 customer described three projects, including a gas insert installation, and said the shop helped coordinate with outside plumbing and electrical professionals. The written Houzz reviews span 2017 to 2025 and include a sharply negative 2023 review that called the service awful and advised others not to go there. The available history includes both that complaint and older accounts of helpful product guidance and installation support. The profile fits homeowners shopping for fireplaces, stoves, grills, and related installation or service. Ask about the work included in a specific project and how installation coordination will be handled.
“the Natick Fireplace Store organized a raffle that included The Big Green Egg (the ceramic charcoal barbecue cooker), donated by the company by the same name.”
Best place to shop for your fireplace project! The team at Natick Fireplace has been around longer than anyone in the area.
1 star is more than good for this place, id do -5 if I could. service was awful, I wouldn’t recommend anybody going there it’s just not a good place to do business
If you are looking for a gas fire place, look no further! Doug of Natick Fireplace was friendly, courteous, patient and super helpful as we came in with our list of questions. We ordered our fireplace from them and are super happy customers!
We've had three great project experiences with Natick Fireplace: a custom fireplace screen and doors, the installation of a gas fireplace in a historic home, and the installation of a gas insert in a masonry fireplace in a modern home. In every case, Natick Fireplace helped us choose the right product for our goals and space, and helped us make our projects go smoothly. They worked well with us on the timing of installations of the fireplace product, and they were happy to talk with our third-party professionals (plumbing & electric) to make sure the products were installed correctly. Craig always called to ask if we were happy and if we needed anything. I've run out of places to put fireplaces, but I'll always be happy to send friends to talk with Craig.
