Four bids came in on a tree that had fallen onto a Marshfield roof, and in a January 2025 review the homeowner pointed out that ND was the only one whose proposal didn't call for a crane. That is the shape of this Brockton company: crews that climb, drop, chip and haul, working out of 105 Hammond Street for people writing from Marshfield, Scituate and Raynham. Nilda is the name that keeps appearing. She comes out to quote — one March 2024 customer called about a removal, had her there the next day, then watched the crew arrive at 8 on the scheduled morning and finish before 2. The company's own site, under the name ND Cleaning & Landscaping Inc., describes landscaping, lawn care and snow removal, plus interior remodeling and carpentry. The tight jobs come up again and again. An August 2024 reviewer had a pine that was really four trees in one, boxed in by a propane tank, a generator, an A/C unit and the house, and wrote that the crew "surgically dropped the tree where it had to go." In July 2025 another customer had five trees taken out from between the house and a hill to clear the way for solar panels, and in September 2025 six came down with no crane at all — free-climbed, dropped, shredded, hauled off. Cleanup runs through many of the reviews. A September 2024 customer said you could barely tell work had been done, minus the missing trees; an April 2025 reviewer had a double maple down in under two hours, with the wood cut to log length and stacked. Price draws the same kind of comment, called fair or reasonable in reviews from 2022 through 2026. The work isn't only trees. An August 2025 condominium job had the crew trimming bushes and shrubs across the complex, and a September 2024 customer had them cut trees, build a shed and put in a fence. Two things deserve a question before you book. A one-star review in January 2022 alleged the company was working without insurance, so ask for a certificate of insurance naming your property before anyone climbs. Scheduling has slipped too: a June 2023 customer who had negotiated a price to take one overhanging limb off the roof was told a week and waited three, though the crew got the limb down without damaging the house or garden once they came. For a large removal in an awkward place — over a roof, beside a deck, next to a propane tank — this is the kind of crew people describe handling it without drama. Pin down the insurance certificate and a firm date in writing before the trucks roll.
