Rose Landscaping and Construction

Eighty-eight Google ratings averaging 5★, and the jobs behind them run from a spring mulch delivery to a granite-and-paver front walkway. Rose of Sharon Landscaping & Construction works out of Brockton and says it covers the South Shore, offering lawn maintenance, landscape design and installation, hardscaping, water features, tree service, gutter cleaning and snow removal; the company says it was founded and is run by partners Renado Borges and Silvano DaSilva. The bread and butter is seasonal yard work, and those accounts are specific. A Stoughton homeowner wrote in April 2026 that price mattered most this time and Rose of Sharon's beat the others'. Another Stoughton customer that month needed a big spring cleanup and a pile of brush and leaves taken away, got a quick, reasonable quote after they came and looked, and had the work done the next week. In June 2026 a customer described pruning, planting and mulching, and called Carlos attentive and accommodating. The construction half shows up too. A May 2026 customer had a cobblestone border laid around a sitting area and a play space built out for a swing set, and said the crew was patient while the size and placement got worked out. In November 2024 another had a front walkway and steps done in pavers and granite: Renato gave a fair quote, stayed responsive, and was reasonable when the quote had to be adjusted for added work. An October 2025 customer had the stairs in their yard redone. Property managers use them as well. A December 2025 reviewer from Beacon Communities described many projects completed across their sites, and a condominium community wrote in November 2025 that it gets landscaping, snowplowing and gutter cleaning from them. A resident of a North Easton complex credited Ronaldo's team in January 2026 with plowing the lot and helping neighbors get out. One customer of five years, writing in June 2025, said that on the rare occasions things didn't go exactly as planned, the crew was quick to course correct. Scope is the thing to pin down. The outfit that mows and mulches also builds patios, retaining walls and masonry steps — a November 2025 reviewer who sends them to their own customers singled that hardscape work out — so be clear about which job you are booking and get it quoted in writing, including how added work gets priced. For seasonal cleanups, mulch and lawn care on the South Shore they are an easy call; for a patio or walkway build, ask to see comparable work and settle the timeline before the season fills up.
