Its own website lists tree pruning, tree removal, cabling and bracing, stump removal, plant health care and tick services, and claims 39 years in business. The site names Newtown, Monroe, Easton, Redding, Fairfield, Ridgefield, Bethel, Weston and Trumbull as its service area. A 2025 Google reviewer wrote that NEHS completed tree trimming on a couple of client homes, calling the pricing competitive and saying it left little to no mess afterwards. A 2024 Google customer said its tick service works. In 2018, a customer described a severe winter storm that took down a very large tree within inches of the house. That 2018 reviewer wrote that Dave responded within hours, showed up within a day and gave a quick and reasonable estimate, then came a day ahead of schedule to make the driveway accessible. A 2017 customer wrote that Dave and his team took down two trees in the front yard, one growing on the house, and hauled everything away. A 2017 customer called the work acceptable but said Dave came out with the crew for about 10 minutes at the start of the day, said he would return later, and was never seen or heard from again.
