Bathrooms run through the written accounts: nine of them, from a full gut remodel a Thumbtack customer described in 2021 to three separate bathroom projects in September 2025 alone. Two things come up again and again in those write-ups — the estimate and the communication. A November 2025 customer said the detailed estimate upfront meant no big surprises or unnecessary change orders; another that same month called him respectful and punctual, and said he did not haggle on pricing. Eight reviewers single out how the company kept them in the loop: a September 2025 homeowner named the prompt communication and transparency, and an August 2025 customer pointed to extremely timely responses to any and all questions. The range goes well past bathrooms. In December 2024, after a hot water tank let go and soaked the slab under a family-room bamboo floor, a homeowner wrote that the team took up the damaged floor and laid a new vinyl wood one within ten days of the first call. An August 2025 reviewer had a patio and walkway finished in two days; a May 2024 Thumbtack customer had a one-car garage turned into a home golf simulator and theater; and in January 2024, an electrician named Jeffrey quoted an EV charger install one day and did the job the next. One review, from July 2026, is a single star, and it is not about the work: no builder, the writer said, is good enough to justify driving recklessly in and out of the neighborhood they are building in — "SLOW DOWN, you're going to kill a kid!" On a tight street, or one full of children, raise that before the trucks arrive. For a gut bathroom, a basement, or a whole-house refresh before a sale, this is a crew that quotes in detail and works quickly. Get the scope and the change-order terms into that written estimate, and settle the site rules — parking, hours, speed on the street — at the same time.
