What the two homeowners who reviewed Nicolazzo & Sons on Google wrote about was upkeep — a property that keeps looking the way they want it to look. "Our neighbors & friends comment how beautiful our property is maintained," one wrote in July 2025, adding that they refer the company at every opportunity. The West Newton company does landscape design, construction and maintenance, and its Better Business Bureau page puts it at 41 years in business with an A+ grade. Its five Google ratings average 5.0. A March 2025 reviewer described people who pay attention to detail, do what you ask, and answer a question when you have one; "He puts together a great team," that reviewer wrote. For seasonal maintenance on a Newton-area property, or a design-and-build job you want handled by a long-established local crew, they fit. Ask what a maintenance visit covers and how often it comes, get any design or construction scope priced in writing, and ask for a current certificate of insurance before work starts.
