Niz Masonry Construction & Landscaping is a Lynn, MA masonry and landscaping company owner-operated by Santos, who works alongside his crew on every job. Reviewers across Angi and Thumbtack, going back to 2024, describe skilled stonework — granite and bluestone steps, retaining walls, repointing, and paver patios — along with concrete driveways, sod installation, and a French drain and foundation repair for a leaking basement. Customers regularly call the pricing fair and the crew prompt and communicative, with Angi rating the company 4.8★ across 37 reviews and Thumbtack 5.0★ from a small sample. One January 2026 review is a significant exception: a customer said she was overcharged and treated poorly, an allegation the owner disputes, saying the extra work was agreed outside the original contract. The company reports free estimates and roughly a decade of experience, though its own website gives inconsistent figures for exactly how long it has operated.
Niz Masonry were fantastic! I am having them come back for another project. I highly recommend them for there outstanding work.
Santos did an exceptional job on ?creating? my new stairs. He is not only a very capable masonry but a true artist. He very meticulously chose and crafted each piece of natural stone to build a beautiful set of stairs for my home. He was reliable and knowledgeable. Santos and his crew cleaned up after each days work and kept me informed along the way. I highly recommend him!
Had a few prices they were right in the middle (fair price) he said next week and I said because of my neighbor I need it done as soon as possible. He was kind enough to start it the next day and worked Friday and Saturday to finish it. Plus it was Easter weekend. Did a great job I was very happy. Will have them back to do some other work for sure. NIZ Masonry they were very hard workers and Sontos was very knowledgeable. Highly recommend them.
