Horrible communicatiosn and repeated failure to show up when promised. I have so many texts from Tom McNamara telling me he was coming out to resolve issues but no one ever showed up. Read all of the reviews - this seems to be a consistent issue. They orginally installed the wrong size green and would not fix it until I withheld payment. Repairs needed after the install have never been completed. And he asked my landscaper to provide the base stone for my project and then he never paid the landscaper. I did, howver, pay Tom McNamara for that work.

Tom was Great! Turf came out excellent(K9 turf) We have 7 dogs and were in desperate need to eliminate the muddy paws and digging of huge craters. Once we were ready to pull the trigger, Tom came right out took measurements and gave me a quote, (drastically lower than the other K9 grass installer). He fit us in between his larger commercial jobs. My yard was an undertaking too, a fence had to come out, brush cleared, and many funny angles, Tom & his crew took care of it all! We could not be happier! He also said if we have any issues at all(which we don't suspect)but to give him a call and he will send someone right out! It is an undertaking so be patient install is also weather dependent which some people don't understand and at the discretion of availability of the right crew for the particular job. I could go on and on. Tom, Thank you so much the dogs are loving it!

Recently, I hired this company, and what a mistake!!! Tom agreed to a start date, the materials, and completion date.(months in advance) He no-showed and cancelled three times to start the project. He would email after 5 pm the night before. Tried to install product that I did not order and then delayed the project again two more times. Tom will tell you how many years he has installed putting green, and how many projects....but what he does not tell you is just how many unhappy customers he has. He would not return phone calls nor come back to my residence after he got the deposit. He did not go over the fine print on the back of the agreement before he ask me to sign. I was not even aware of the printing on the back until everything went to HELL. His own staff did not speak well of his professionalism on keeping his commitments. You cannot trust him to keep his word! A business owner that does not keep his commitments deserves a review like this.... in my view. A leopard cannot change it's spots. Poor service, Poor communication, Poor business practices...Find another company..... One star is the lowest score but in reality it should be NO STAR

On 7/25/23 I contracted with Tom McNamara owner of Northeast Synthetic Turf Co. to install artificial turf around my pool and to install a putting green. I was told once they started it would be 4-5 days, and they would start in a couple weeks. On 8/9/23 they drop off a roll of turf. They no showed until 10/19/23. They were 90% finished on 11/8 and I paid the balance. BIG MISTAKE. They promised to come back in the spring and spread Bio Fill on the green, and take care of any problems because of the late fall installation. During the winter, the seams separated, 3 cups in the putting green lifted above the green by an inch, the putting turf separated from the border turf, there were ridges in the turf that needed to be stretched out. I've contacted him since March and still not repaired. The final person to come finish the repair was Matt Francis a project manager. He came to my front door and told me he had to bring new turf for the putting green because, in his professional opinion, it would never roll correctly and would not fit properly. Matt tried his best to put the putting green in place and make it acceptable, but there are nails and blocks all over the place and Matt finally gave up. Tom of course disputes this, saying Matt meant the base material was incorrect. He brought the last 5-7 yards to finish the putting green. Since this process started I've called or texted 30+ times. It's been 11 months, there has been at least 12 no shows where Tom promised he or his men would be here. He continues to promise he will repair, yet he never shows up. $16,000 later, I've yet to do a single putt, it's unusable. One star is too much. I highly advise anyone looking for a putting green to look ELSEWHERE. I'd love for him to finish what he started, install a new putting green, do the Bio fill he promised at no charge or give me my money back.

Where do I even start. Installation went smooth. Tom and crew showed up on time and very nice and respectful. I was having trouble keeping up with a grassed area in my backyard and he advised me to go with turf and boy was he right. It’s been about 3 years now since installation and the set up looks brand new. That’s 1 star reviews below seriously look like they are from bots. Owner is a great guy who knows the ins and outs of the business. I would recommend this crew 100 times over, if you’re going anywhere but here you’re doing yourself an injustice !
