Noyes Electric's customers describe both new electrical installations and repairs in older homes, from garage EV chargers to a mobile home's meter problem. The Chesterfield shop says it serves Keene and the Monadnock Region, offers free estimates and advertises 24/7 emergency service. John R. Noyes holds an active New Hampshire electrician licence. A July 2026 customer in the Upper Valley described John installing a garage charging station after estimating from photographs. The work included trenching between the house and garage; the customer praised the result and said the ground was left looking undisturbed. In a review updated in April 2026, another homeowner described two EV chargers, several outlets and concealed TV wiring completed within days of the initial contact. The update said John came the same day to assess living-room lighting and installed eight recessed lights and an additional basement outlet during the visit. Older homes also feature in customers' accounts. A May 2026 mobile-home customer said John fixed a meter problem and that the park covered the cost. Another May reviewer described a fuse-box update and several outlet and receptacle changes in a 1978 mobile home. That customer said the job took more than one day, John returned as promised, and he cleaned up after working somewhat messily. In June 2025, a customer said John installed a requested 240-volt outlet in under an hour on the Monday after a Friday inquiry, and also secured a loose wire in the main panel. A December 2025 customer praised his coordination with the electric provider and preparation of a city permit application. An April 2025 reviewer described a panel and wiring installation for a hot tub. Google shows a 5-star average from nine ratings, while HomeAdvisor shows 5 stars from 32 ratings. The company also advertises generator installation, panel upgrades and residential wiring.
John is awesome to work with and provides quality work. Thanks!
Electrician did a great job! Very reasonably priced.
Noyes Electric made an appointment for the very next day and completed the project with no issues. John did a great job and I’m very happy with the work he did.
John traveled to the Upper Valley to install an EV charging station in our garage. He gave us an abundantly reasonable estimate based on photographs we sent him. He came quickly to do the work, and did a fantastic job. He dug a trench from the house to the garage, but left no evidence of it. We have complaints about the last two electricians we've had, but we will hire John next time without question.
Not only he gets the job well done, he is trustworthy and pleasant to work with. Always has time to answer questions, whether he is out and about working or off for the weekend. Highly recommend!
