OneGuard Roofing LLC

A strip of aluminum roof trim tore off in high winds; in a December 2025 review, the homeowner said El came out and had it repaired inside 24 hours. In a February 2026 review, another customer described the crew arriving the same day for a leak from an ice dam and working into the evening until it was sorted. OneGuard Roofing works out of Lexington and describes itself as a Boston-area roofing contractor handling roof repair, replacement, inspection, gutter and skylight work across Greater Boston, naming towns from Somerville and Cambridge to Waltham and Arlington. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, #215711, is active. Thumbtack lists a Massachusetts Construction Supervisor licence, #CS-115567, under the name Elshan Mustafaev, along with Top Pro status for 2024 and 2025. As much of the work customers describe is cleaning and maintenance as roofing. A May 2026 reviewer had moss and algae taken off a roof that was overdue for it and said the crew cleared every bit of the debris before leaving; another in May 2026 had siding, a fence and a paver walkway washed; a Thumbtack customer in May 2026 had a deck, deck furniture and a patio pressure washed. On the roofing side, a January 2026 reviewer who spotted an attic leak said the team came quickly, diagnosed the roof by drone, and sent before-and-after pictures. Those photos come up a lot — several reviewers mention being walked through before-and-after shots once the job was done. So does the quote: a March 2026 reviewer said the price given before the crew started was the price they paid, and a March 2026 gutter replacement came with structural supports inside and a downspout replaced well away from the original repair, at no extra charge. Several customers are on a second or third job, one writing in December 2025 that after the gutter work they handed OneGuard the much larger job of replacing the roof shingles. The thing to settle up front is which OneGuard job you are booking. The same crew shows up for full roof replacements, repairs, gutter installs and cleanings, window cleaning, pressure washing, and driveway snow and ice-dam removal, so pin down what the quote covers and who will be on the property. For roof and gutter upkeep — moss, ice dams, a leak that needs a look this week — this is a straightforward call, and the photo habit makes the finished work easy to check. Before a big job, confirm the construction supervisor licence number on the state register, get the scope in writing, and ask for a certificate of insurance.
