Order My Oil is a Norton, MA business that describes itself on its website as an online heating oil dealer, with orders taken 24/7, and says it has been in business 18 years. The service area on its website includes Fitchburg, Framingham, Marshfield and Mashpee, among other towns. In a 2026 review, a customer who placed an online order on a Tuesday afternoon wrote that the oil was delivered the next morning by a well-known local supplier. The customer noticed a difference of less than $10 between the prepaid order and the delivery, asked for a credit, got a reply to the email in two hours and had the difference refunded the next morning. In another 2026 review, a customer wrote that they had good prices and came on time, advised ordering early because delivery could take up to 5 business days, and said that after a storm they shoveled a path to the tank themselves. In a 2025 review, a customer of several years wrote that deliveries were always on time and that emails from the owner kept them informed about delivery and pricing trends. As the heating oil price went up significantly, I did search for alternative or low-price heating oil suppliers for a week. The Ordermyoil consistently came out as the best price, at least $0.5/gallon less than that of my ordinary oil supplier. Initially I was somewhat skeptical about this unknown operation. Anyway, I placed an on-line order on Tuesday afternoon. On Wednesday morning, less than 24 hours, oil was delivered by a well-known local supplier, quite impressive! While checking the delivery slip, I noticed a minor difference between my order/prepaid and what's delivered. It was less than $10 worth; but I asked a credit for the difference on Thursday. Surprisingly, the Ordermyoil responded to my email in two hours, and the difference was refunded into my bank account on Friday morning. May be I was lucky. In my experience, service/oil delivery by the Ordermyoil was exceptional, all transactions were prompt, accurate and professionally handled. I wouldn't hesitate to re-order my heating oil from the Ordermyoil again.
Worst customer service, Wes is a total clown who is rude sitting behind a computer writing nonsense long emails meanwhile his work force is out there probably trying to keep up with the demand of oil as this guy drops his price the drop of a hat, i realized now the cheapest way is not always the way to go. This company is very unreliable i can see now why my regular oil man i currently use doesn’t like this company as he explained it to me that people think he’s ripping people off because you have this guy who wants to always be the cheapest yet can’t back up the deliveries or get out there at a timely manner. I’ll never give these people another shot especially not after this winter.
The worst oil company you could ever deal with. You’re better off hiring a company that can actually maintenance/service your tank too. Read reviews and trust your instinct, there are so many better options out there that will give you peace of mind and not the runaround. Disappointed.
The worst customer support I have ever experienced. My family was left without heat and hot water, and the company showed NO concern. They canceled our delivery three separate times, claiming our driveway was too icy. I had been a customer for two years and kept giving them the benefit of the doubt, but this situation was unacceptable. Their cancellation email instructs customers to “call the office,” yet they do not answer the phone. Instead, the voicemail tells you to email them. When I finally emailed to express my concerns, the owner, Wess, responded multiple times in a rude and condescending manner and even called me a “clown” for complaining. After this experience, I contacted Star Petroleum. A very friendly woman answered the phone, and they delivered our oil the very next day with zero issues. Needless to say, I will not be using this company again.
They have good prices and come on time (make sure you order early because it can take up to 5 business days). Customer service is responsive and I haven’t had any issues. There was a storm recently and we weren’t able to shovel a path to the tank in time, and they actually shoveled a path themselves! I will try my best to not repeat that mistake, but we were really grateful for that. I’m sure it’s a different company depending on location but it has been fraticelli’s delivering to us every time.
