Organic Gardening & Landscaping is a gardening and landscaping business in Marlborough that says it has been in business for 18 years. Its website writes about water bans and lists ways of dealing with them, including synthetic grass, less lawn and more plants, drought tolerant plants and native plants. In a 2021 review, a customer wrote that Ramon was incredibly knowledgeable about each plant, flower and shrub, valued his honesty, and said they loved the new front perennial garden at their new house. In a 2019 review, a customer wrote that the company did not show up when it said it would for mowing the lawn, did not prune one bush correctly and had not fixed it after more than four weeks of requests, and applied compost unevenly over the lawn. In a 2017 review, a customer wrote that it showed up on schedule and finished in a timely manner.
The absolute best in the business! Incredibly knowledgeable about each plant, flower, shrub. Ramon brings his many years of experience to the table to make your gardening/yard and landscaping vision come to life. Truly organic. And what I most valued in our exchanges—honesty. Ramon clearly cares deeply and is truly passionate about what he does. We had no real color here at our new house and now I LOVE our new front perennial garden. Will be hiring again. His clients stay with him for many years and now I understand why. It is rare that I review anything online, but I was truly taken by how committed he was to helping my vision come to life from beginning to end. I love my flower garden!! HIGHLY recommend!!
This company does not meet its commitments, does not communicate when commitments are not met, does not fix its mistakes, and is dishonest about its methods. They didn't show up when they said they would for mowing my lawn, and didn't communicate why they didn't show up or reschedule without me asking them about it several days later on multiple occasions. They also didn't show up even when they rescheduled! They didn't prune one of my bushes correctly and said they would fix it "when they consider it convenient" after asking them multiple times over the course of 4+weeks to do so. I asked them about when they think it would be convenient but never got an answer to my question. They applied compost unevenly over my lawn so my grass' length has become noticeably uneven in patches. They also lied about not using heavy equipment to mow my lawn. I saw them use a mower with a stand-on in tow during their first mow.
Does a great job. Shows up on schedule & finishes in a timely manner.
