In a 2017 review, a customer who bought a foreclosure described Bill of Parris Painting doing a full interior paint (walls, windows, ceilings and stairs) and restoring a heavily textured ceiling to smooth. That 2017 customer said some paint in the kitchen did not cure right, and Bill came over after an email and sorted it out. Angi and HomeAdvisor each show 4.8 stars from 24 ratings. A 2015 customer turned to Bill after cancelling a kitchen project with Ikea, hiring him to refurbish the kitchen cabinets and repaint a deck, kitchen walls, a hallway, a bedroom ceiling, trim and shelving. That 2015 customer said he explained the stages of prepping each surface, and that no dust, paint or tools were left behind at the end of each day. A 2014 customer hired Bill for a family room and hallway paint job that included installing chair rail, bead board and baseboard moulding. In a 2013 review, a customer said he power-washed, sanded and painted a deck and power washed, sealed and stained a stockade fence, with weather slowing the finish. A 2013 customer said parts of the wall still showed the original paint, and the issues were not fixed after asking him to come back after payment. A 2012 customer said a stain appeared darker than the color they chose. Connecticut lists its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0625515, as expired, held by Parris Painting LLC.
Very personable and caring about their work. The job is not done until you are happy and satisfied with the work. We had some concerns but they took care of it without question and completed the job on time as promised with no additional costs.
Bill was a pleasure to work with and I would use him again in a NY minute. Great Communication and quality work. He was extremely polite and his pricing structure was excellent
Bill and staff did a great job. Very detailed, very trustworthy and easy to work with. Have recommended them to my coworkers and friends.
Bill is professional in every way and was a pleasure to work with. We had a tough project, we bought a foreclosure that needed a full interior paint: Walls/Windows/Ceilings/Stairs. He also restored a ceiling for us that had a horrible texture/worse than popcorn and made it smooth and new. His detailed prep work made the final coat exceed all of our expectations. Other things we liked: He was a truthful and honest negotiator. His bid was very detailed and he has software that helps everything get signed over e-mail. I appreciated the convenience. He showed up when he said he would, and his workers/colleagues were equally trustworthy and excellent painters. Try and get Jose for your job too. We did have one hiccup with some paint that did note cure right in our kitchen. I e-mailed Bill and he came over and sorted everything out. We are very happy with our results and would hire Bill again.Show moreAmy
Bill did a fantastic job with re-painting a large "challenged" space in my old house. Tape needed to be replaced, holes filled, you name it. I cannot believe how well it all turned out. He is a true professional and obviously cares about the excellent caliber of his work. I am just sorry that I hadn't know about him sooner - because I would much rather have had him re-paint some of my other rooms vs. the people who did.
