A homeowner writing in May 2025 said Jason had just completed their third fencing installation with Patriot Fence Railing Design: a new vinyl fence that fit their project. They described a quick response for the estimate, easy communication and an installation date moved earlier after the materials arrived ahead of expectations. The Springfield business has a 4.1-star Google average from 12 ratings. In a March 2023 Google review, another customer praised the fence Jason installed in November 2022. A November 2023 reviewer in the Agawam area said Jason Simmons provided the most straightforward, professional and affordable of their three quotes. That reviewer admired the fence he had installed for a neighbor, but their own household chose to do the work themselves. A commenter in a November 2023 Massachusetts Reddit thread also praised Jason's work, while saying the start timeline was off and attributing that mainly to heavy rain. Other customers described problems with follow-up and workmanship. In a May 2023 review, a homeowner who had bought a house with a Patriot-installed fence said they called more than ten times about changes, spoke to someone once and were still waiting for a callback six months later. Someone else ultimately did the fence work. A July 2012 reviewer described two short vinyl-picket sections and custom gates at the front of their house. They said the crew initially left one section unfinished and the gates uninstalled, and disputed the uneven fence height. According to the homeowner, the company's response was to offer removal without refunding the deposit. The homeowner's wife eventually persuaded the crew to finish, but the reviewer remained unhappy with the result and contacted another fence contractor to make corrections.
“Jason at Patriot Fence. Great guy, did a great job. His timeline for starting was a bit off but we had a ton of downpour rain so that was the major factor.”
Jason @ Patriot Fence and Railing Design, Inc. just completed the installation of new vinyl fence at my home. Jason responded quickly to my home for an estimate and in fact, he phoned to tell me that my fencing materials had arrived earlier than expected and we planned an earlier date for installation. The workmanship was extremely professional and Jason made it easy to communicate with him. I am very pleased with my new fence and it was the perfect fit for my project. This is the Third fencing installation that Jason has completed for me. I highly recommend Patriot Fence And Railing Design Inc. for your fencing needs.
Jason Simmons of Patriot Fence did my neighbors fence and it looks fantastic. He was also the the licensed contractor who we liked the most - he was the most straight forward, professional and affordable of our 3 quotes in the Agawam, MA area. Although we went a different way (my husband wanted to do it himself), I would definitely recommend and call on Jason in the future!
I bought a house that has a fence installed by them. I wanted to make some changes to the fence. I called more than 10 times. I spoke with someone once, and six months later, I am still waiting for a call back. My fence was done by someone else.
Jason put our fence in November of 2022 what a nice job he did ,he really is a true professional
NEVER AGAIN! We contracted with these guys in April for two short sections of vinyl picket fence and gates for the front of the house. The gates had to be custom made so it took a while to get them. They got to us several weeks ago on a Saturday morning and took out the old fence and started setting up the new. We were in and out that day so couldn’t watch the progress. They were gone when we got home. One section was unfinished and the gates weren’t installed. The yard is pretty flat but the fence drops several inches on one side, according to them, following the lay of the land, despite the fact the bottom at one end is less than two inches above the ground and the other end is over 4 inches above the ground. The other section, even shorter has more drop. When then came to review what had been done after I complained, they rudely insisted it looked fine and that I should be happy with a crooked that I hated. When pressed, the only recourse they offered in place of correction was to “rip out” what they’d put in and refuse any refund of our deposit. My wife was able to finally sweet talk them into finishing the job, though it really is unacceptable. We have contacted another fence guy to make the corrections.
