In 2016 he built a new single-family house on his own street in Medway — 2,150 square feet, three bedrooms, two and a half baths, a two-car garage, filed at $194,100 — after pulling the foundation permit earlier that year. The same year, at a Medfield house, he added a 20-by-20 family room with a deck, finished the basement under it and renovated the kitchen, valued together at $140,400. In 2020 he took on two second-floor bathrooms in West Roxbury at $73,600 and stripped and replaced the vinyl siding on a Haverhill house for $12,680. Threaded through all of it is a long run of Ashland alteration jobs, roughly $18,000 to $57,000 apiece, from 2016 into 2021. The licensing entries need reading closely, because the two say different things. BuildZoom lists a Massachusetts construction supervisor licence for one- and two-family buildings, CSFA-083900, which it says it verified as active in July 2026. It separately lists a home improvement contractor registration, 159634, as inactive, and states that according to the Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation that registration was at one point cancelled. Those are BuildZoom's records rather than a state verification, and the two credentials cover different work: the supervisor licence goes with structural building, the HIC registration with nonstructural residential home improvement. One geographic note, because the address invites it: this is Winthrop Street in Medway, not the town of Winthrop. The permits run from Medway and Ashland out as far as Haverhill and Attleboro. So: a builder with a documented run of real, sizeable residential work — new houses, additions, full-room renovations — and no customer voice on the public record at all. Ask directly about the current status of the home improvement contractor registration before signing anything nonstructural, and ask for the addresses of the recent Ashland and Medfield jobs so you can speak to those owners yourself.
