Twenty-six written reviews since 2015, and not one of them is unhappy. On Google, Paul's Quality Kitchens holds 5.0 across 39 ratings, and one name explains most of it: Rick, whom reviewers describe as the owner, does the designing, the quoting and the following up. The Fall River shop at 18 Pelham Street is a kitchen design and cabinet business. Its BBB file lists a sole proprietorship started in January 1992, and its Houzz page says the business opened in Fall River that year and is family owned and operated, serving the South Coast. Porch lists cabinet design, cabinet installation, custom cabinetry and shelving; Houzz adds custom bathroom design and new-home work. What customers describe is design plus supply, with the fitting done by a contractor Rick recommends. Reviewers in February, March and April 2026 all name Joe Ferreira of Advanced Building as the installer and praise his crew separately. That split matters when you budget: the cabinets and the design come from one place, the installation from another. The design work draws the most specific praise. A 2023 customer wrote that Rick came to the house, traded a peninsula for an island and rearranged awkward appliance placement to gain storage, in all-wood cabinets within budget. A January 2026 buyer with a baby on the way had a full layout and a quote inside a few days. Another, in November 2025, got five drawings to choose from against a three-month deadline, some sent at night while Rick was away on vacation. Distance does not seem to stop it either: one customer remodeling in another state said the year-long process never lost momentum, and a 2015 Houzz reviewer had a kitchen chosen in Fall River and shipped to a second home in Florida. The only bump anyone reports is upstream. A 2023 reviewer's cabinet doors arrived from the manufacturer with marks on them, and Rick told them the doors would be replaced at no cost. The BBB page is unaccredited and carries no rating, which the bureau attributes to not having enough information rather than to complaints. If you want someone who will sit with your layout and match a cabinet line to your budget, this is a strong call. Just confirm who is installing, and get that scope in writing alongside the cabinet order.
Matt and Liz Cayer absolutely loved what they did to there kitchen. Everything was done beautifully. Rick was an excellent person to be working with.
If you’re looking for a new kitchen, Paul’s Kitchens is the place to go. Rick is incredibly responsive, accommodating, and truly stands behind his work. Any time we’ve had a question or issue, he has addressed it quickly—even while on vacation. That level of customer service is nearly impossible to find these days. From start to finish, the experience was outstanding. If you’re considering a kitchen renovation, don’t waste your time shopping around. You won’t find better service, professionalism, or dedication than you’ll get from Rick! Highly recommend!
Great customer service! We were remodeling a kitchen in another state and the process took over a year. Rick was attentive and responsive through the whole process. He was able to roll with all of our changes and offer great suggestions along the way. His communication was above and beyond. I would highly recommend Paul's Quality Kitchens for your new home or rehab project!
Have dealt with Rick numerous times now, always a treat. He's a competent, knowledgeable guy with great suggestions and ideas. Always a nice design and very fair price! 100% recommend!!! Dave F. in Middletown, RI
We couldn’t be happier with our experience working with Rick at Paul’s Quality Kitchens. Rick helped design our entire new space including the kitchen, bar area, and pantry, and made the whole process simple and stress-free from the start. He was easy to work with, responsive, and moved everything along quickly. The cabinet quality and overall design came out even better than we imagined. Rick also recommended Joe from Advanced Building for the installation, and his team was fantastic. They worked quickly, paid attention to every detail, and completed the renovation in no time. We’re beyond happy with the finished product and would highly recommend both Rick and Joe’s team to anyone planning a renovation.
