Its website, written in the first person, names installing stone veneer as a favorite part of the work. On Google it holds 4.5 stars from 13 ratings. A 2024 customer said Tim and Cam poured a new crown, repointed a stone chimney and installed a custom rain cap, and wrote that "He was honest about what should be done and what did not have to be done." A 2024 customer said Pennell's Masonry rebuilt their chimney, finished the project within the week, and that the chimney no longer leaked; that customer also said scheduling ran far out but they stayed communicative during the wait. A 2023 customer said they had used Tim twice, once for chimney work needed for a new boiler and once for a hearth, where they put in the hearth floor and chimney and did the prep work for the wall.
