Perma-Glaze holds 2.3 stars on Google from 6 ratings. In a recent Google review, a customer said their tub started peeling quickly and that "this guy never returned our phone calls." A 2023 customer said the job was right on time and a nice job, and that Pete was very professional and left the worksite clean and tidy. That 2023 customer also wrote that within a year the finish started to peel and calls to the local person went unanswered for weeks; after the customer wrote to the main company, the local owner came out and repaired the finish, and several months later it started to bubble and crack again. A 2022 customer who had 3 tubs done in a building called it good service when the jobs were completed, but said one tub started peeling only a few months later. That 2022 customer said corporate offered no solution beyond calling the VT office, which did not respond.
Similar to other stories, out tub started peeling quickly, and this guy never returned our phone calls! Grrr
Update: Within a year the finish started to peel. Calls to the local person went unanswered for weeks. After writing to the main company, I finally got a call back and the local owner came out and repaired the finish. Several months later, the finish started to bubble and crack again. The glaze looks great when it's new but it doesn't last. Right on time and a nice job. Pete was very professional and left the worksite clean and tidy. I wish I had taken a before shot because the after picture can't be truly appreciated without it. The photo is right after the work was done so it's still masked and taped.
It was good service when the jobs were completed. However now it’s Impossible to get a hold of for fix. Called corporate also no answer-update- I heard back now from corporate with no solution only digestion to keep calling vt office. but still no response form vt office. did 3 tubs in the building, one tub started peeling only a few months after so I need warranty repair or other problem solution.
