Pimental Contractors advertises kitchen and bathroom remodeling alongside new homes, additions and custom cabinetry. The New Bedford company says it serves southeastern Massachusetts, is celebrating 35 years in business, and is owned and operated by David Pimental. His Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active. In an October 2014 Houzz review, a homeowner described extensive repairs after a burst pipe damaged a post-and-beam house. The work included replacing hardwood floors, repairing a cedar tongue-and-groove ceiling, replacing drywall on two levels, and refinishing trim. The homeowner said Dave Pimental, his team and subcontractors worked cleanly and carefully, finished on the promised schedule, and charged the quoted price. The customer expanded the project to include other small jobs after seeing the results. A December 2021 Google reviewer described a different experience before work began. After meeting for an hour or more to discuss finishes and materials, the reviewer said the company never sent a quote and repeatedly promised calls that did not come over several months.
