Polson Builders LLC

Polson Builders is a one-owner Braintree carpentry outfit — Devin runs it, answers his own calls and texts, and works the jobs with his own crew rather than subs. The work people hire him for is finish carpentry more than ground-up construction: doors, windows, decks, and porches. All four Google reviews on file, posted in June 2026, describe finished carpentry projects. One homeowner had window treatments and closet doors installed and called the communication a pleasure; another had every interior and exterior door in the house replaced along with a few windows and praised the craftsmanship and the timeframe. A third simply flagged a front porch renovation as a good job. The most detailed account describes a deck with an overhang built from a reference photo, with the owner (spelled Devon in that review) keeping to the agreed start date and working straight through to completion. The company also turned up on Nextdoor in late 2025, named by someone looking for a handyman to mount a heavy wrought-iron handrail. It covers Braintree, Weymouth and Quincy, and its own site labels itself a "2024 Neighborhood Favorite" — a badge it states about itself rather than one that was independently confirmed. This is a small operation best suited to carpentry-scale projects — a deck, a porch, a set of doors and windows — rather than a full gut renovation; with the owner doing the work personally, confirm his schedule directly before booking.
