Tuplin and Sons Carpentry LLC

Tuplin and Sons Carpentry is a Braintree-based carpentry and remodeling company run by Blake, with Krystal handling scheduling and communication (and sometimes painting work herself). Its 24 reviews, nearly all from 2025 into 2026, describe a company that handles an unusually broad range of home projects well beyond carpentry alone. The carpentry work itself is well documented: a crumbling old staircase was rebuilt into what one customer, who has mobility issues, called a beautiful and improved entrance; wobbly handrails and missing balusters were fixed with inventive, reasonably priced solutions, including one job Blake completed on a Sunday for a customer's father; and a back deck and front porch were both replaced with quality the customer trusted enough to bring Tuplin and Sons back for a sliding-to-French-door conversion and gutter replacement on the same property. Beyond carpentry, reviews describe genuine emergency responsiveness — a plumbing fix completed quickly before a cookout, and a same-day gas dryer disconnect-and-reconnect handled on short notice — along with painting work spanning bathrooms, a kitchen, porch railings, and a large master bedroom with high ceilings and multiple closets. Flooring replacement and door installation round out the range, with several reviewers specifically praising fast turnaround, from a first email to a finished job in about a week in one case. A recurring theme across the reviews is trust built through repeat use: several customers describe using Tuplin and Sons for two or more separate jobs after being impressed the first time, and multiple reviews mention recommending the company to neighbors or family. The company's Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active. Google shows 5 stars from 25 ratings, with five more reviews posted in just the last six months. For anyone in the Braintree/South Shore/Boston area with carpentry work — a deck, stairs, railings, doors — or a broader mix of home repairs and painting, Tuplin and Sons' fast, wide-ranging, and consistently praised work makes it a strong option to call.
