Power Services Springfield takes on electrical and heat-pump work. A 2024 customer said Brian and crew completed a 100 to 200 amp electrical upgrade along with a whole-house minisplit and heat pump system of 7 minisplits and 2 condensers. That 2024 customer wrote that the whole job was completed in 2 days during a July heat wave, and that Brian was patient in reviewing the system's operational components with them. A 2018 customer said Mr. Tatro and his team arrived pretty much at the established time, finished all the work that had been agreed to, and cleaned up after themselves. A 2024 customer said a truck from Brian's team almost took down their electrical line, the worker responded rudely to a warning, and Brian defended him and told his crew to pack up and leave, abandoning a 40K job. In a 2025 review, someone wrote that they watched one of the company's drivers push a police car into the oncoming lane after failing to pull over for emergency services. On Google, it holds 3.4 stars from 5 ratings.
Typical Greater Boston range for this kind of work, from regional averages — not a quote from Power Services Springfield. Use it to sanity-check bids, then get the real number in writing.
Standard receptacle swaps — a new dedicated circuit is a bigger job ($350–$750).
Flush mounts, pendants, chandeliers — hung on existing boxes.
Estimated range
$530 – $1,100
Typical electrical project around $820
Watched one of there drivers today just Road rage behind the wheel. After failing to pull to the side of the road for emergency services. The driver pushed the police car well into the oncoming lane as he was more concerned about giving the middle finger to the driver in front of him. Extremely unprofessional and after reading some reviews it sounds like this company has some serious egos on staff.
Expect to be treated disrespectfully unless you’re a man. When Brian’s team pulled up and almost took down our electrical line with their truck, I stepped outside to kindly warn the driver. He sarcastically and rudely responded, “they’re still on your house, aren’t they?” I confronted the worker about this and of course he did not apologize. When I then confronted the owner (Brian) about this and requested an apology from his worker, he defended him, accused me of being difficult, and told his crew to pack up and leave. He abandoned a 40K job because he refused to hold his staff accountable for disrespect. Avoid at all costs unless you're comfortable welcoming shady and disrespectful people into your home.
Brian & crew completed a 100 to 200 amp electrical upgrade along with installing a whole house minisplit/heat pump system (7 minisplits & 2 condensors). Crew was hardworking, professional, and polite. Brian was very patient in reviewing the entire operational components of the system with us. The whole job was completed in 2 days, during the very hot July heat wave. Very pleased with the work and the outcome. Would hire Brian again!
Mr. Tatro and his team arrived pretty much at the established time. They went right to work, were very professional, courteous, and pleasant. They finished all work that had been agreed to and in my opinion went the extra step in cleaning up after themselves.
