Premier Heating and Air describes itself on its website as a Rhode Island-based HVAC company specializing in the installation and service of mini-splits and central air units. Its Rhode Island HVAC license, number 00008693, is active on the state registry, with Michael J Sholes as the holder of record. A 2023 customer hired the company to install two new heat pump systems in two apartments in a property they were renovating. That 2023 customer said that while Mike and Steve were checking the new heat pumps in sub-zero temperatures, the basement water pipes started to burst, and the two stayed for the next 5 hours on a Saturday cutting out and replacing the pipes. A 2023 customer had the company remove an old oil burner and window air conditioners and replace them with heat pump systems; that customer said Mike and Premier were the only ones among several quoting companies who offered options. A 2023 customer said the owners, Mike and Steve, did a simple repair rather than trying to upsell, and took care of it quickly ahead of a heat wave week. In 2023, a customer said the company replaced their central A/C unit and cleaned up after the installation. A 2023 customer said Mike came rapidly, gave a competitive quote to replace an upstairs AC unit, and completed the project on time. A 2022 customer said Mike quickly sent an estimate and the company installed a mini split in their home in a day and a half. In a 2021 review, a customer said Scholes installed a minisplit system and came when they said they would.
Mike and his team at Premier are exceptional. I hired them to remove the old oil burner and window air conditioners and replace them with heat pump systems. I received quotes from several companies but Mike and Premier were the only ones who offered me options based on their extensive expertise. It was clear from the beginning that they were skilled and knowledgeable about all aspects of HVAC. Iâ m very pleased with their installation and subsequent support with respect to filter change etc.
It was a pleasure meeting & having the owners Mike & Steve do a simple repair (vs trying to upsell more than what was needed). They were able to take care of it quickly (during the coming heat wave week). Customer service, honesty, and knowledge well worth the price. Wishing Mike & Steve good luck expanding their business! Thank you!
They did a great job replacing our central A/C Unit. They were professional and cleaned up after completing the installation. The price was affordable and they installed good quality equipment. I highly recommend.
I rarely leave reviews but these guys deserve it. Fantastic experience with Mike. He came rapidly, gave us a quote that was competitive with others to replace our upstairs AC unit. Scheduled the work faster than other companies, showed up on time, did the work they said they would do and completed the project on time. Communication was easy, rapid responses. Can't imagine having a better experience elsewhere. Flawless.
Outstanding customer service. Communication A+,
