The Prevett team was very responsive. Called me back even on a holiday weekend. They kept me updated on when they could installl my new AC unit, came on time and installed it in a day.

Our A/C completely stopped working. They came out the same day to diagnosis. They amazingly got us up and running faster than expected.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but after dealing with this issue for nearly five years, I feel compelled to share our experience with Prevett Heating & Cooling. In 2021, Prevett designed and installed the HVAC system in our home. From the beginning, we believed the system was undersized or otherwise insufficient for the second floor of the house. During summer months, our upstairs bedrooms regularly reach 80–85°F despite the thermostats being set much lower. We raised these concerns shortly after installation, but rather than investigating whether the system design was adequate, technicians were repeatedly sent to explain how to operate the equipment. As homeowners who were simply reporting that the system could not maintain temperature, that response felt dismissive. Fast forward to 2026. We now have a toddler sleeping upstairs, and the problem remains unresolved. We contacted Prevett again hoping they would take a fresh look at the issue and help us identify a long-term solution. I spoke directly with the office manager and specifically requested that she contact me before scheduling service so I could be present and discuss the history of the problem. Instead, a technician arrived while I was away. The visit resulted in adding refrigerant and a bill of nearly $400. According to the invoice, the technician found the system low on charge and noted it was "running good at this time." Unfortunately, nothing about the original concern was resolved. The upstairs remains uncomfortably hot, and the thermostat still shows temperatures above 80 after the service visit. What is most disappointing is not that there is a problem—HVAC issues can be complicated. It is that after years of raising the same concern, I still feel that nobody at Prevett is willing to acknowledge the possibility that the original design may not adequately serve our home or work with us toward a meaningful solution. If you are considering Prevett for a new system installation, I would encourage you to carefully discuss load calculations, system sizing, and performance expectations beforehand. Our experience has been that once concerns arise, getting accountability and resolution can be extremely difficult.

Absolutely the best! Great communication before the work started. We needed a new furnace and AC. The technicians were wonderful. They completely answered all of our questions. They were extremely polite and very personable. We would highly recommend Prevett Heating and Cooling

Prevett Heating & Cooling has been handling all the work in my homes since 2002 and I cant say enough good things about them! They are professional, show up when scheduled, and always leave the space as clean or cleaner than before they arrived. They offer great advice and have very competitive pricing. I will use them as long as they will have me <:)
