Prime Disposal is a small Ayer, Massachusetts hauler that does the two jobs most households need from a waste company: the weekly curbside barrel, and the one-off pile that has to go. The Better Business Bureau lists it under Junk Removal, and reviewers consistently describe an owner named Rick answering the phone or the text himself. The review record is unusually specific about turnaround. Customers in 2026 describe a dumpster delivered the following day, a garage or yard cleanout booked and completed inside twenty-four hours, and two couches loaded and gone in a single short visit. Several say they called around first and found the price lower than the national haulers they had used before. The other repeated theme is the switch. A striking number of reviewers came from another trash company and say the difference was reliability and reachability — barrels retrieved from the driveway when they forgot to put them out, a truck sent back the same day after a missed holiday pickup, a real person on the phone rather than a menu. A 2025 reviewer described the owner circling back for barrels more than once. What to weigh against that: in August 2026 two customers posted one-star reviews on the same day, one reporting weeks of missed pickups and being cussed at and mocked over their accent when they called the company line, the other a very late driver who woke the neighbourhood and knocked the bins over. Both said they were switching back to their previous hauler. They are the newest reviews on file and they are about the same weekly-route service the rest of the record praises, so ask directly about route reliability and who answers the phone when something goes wrong. Also worth knowing: the Better Business Bureau has a file open on the business but is not accredited and explicitly issues no rating, saying it does not have sufficient information — that is an absence of BBB data, not a mark against the company. For a single cleanout, a dumpster or a couch that has to disappear this week, the record here is strong and recent. For a weekly contract, confirm the route, the holiday schedule and the escalation path before you sign up.

these guys havent picked up my trash in weeks. i called into the company line and whoever it was cussed me out and made fun of my accent. switching back to harvey as soon as i can, those guys are real professionals
Driver came extremely late to pick up the trash, woke up the whole neighborhood and knocked my bins over. I switched from Harvey a week ago and I'm switching back ASAP. Harvey was so much better!!!
Rick and Jason were fantastic. I had called about 10 different dumpster/waste removal companies before finding Prime, and I'm so glad I did: not only were they more affordable than their competitors, but they were also MUCH nicer, prompt, and responsive. I know who I'll be using for any future dumpster needs. Rick, Jason, and team -- thank you! As a schoolteacher on a tight budget, that was exactly what I needed, and I feel like it was money very well spent based on the incredibly high quality of service they provided. 10/10 recommend!
This guy is literally the nicest guy in the world his service is so professional they are so timely and so kind there's no other disposal service to use
Prime was able to get me set up for weekly pickups, as well as agree to do a pickup of my trash, all within a day. Highly recommend to anyone
