Primety Services

Primety does the move and the cleanout in one trip. A customer moving out of an apartment in April 2026 had Pierre get everything out quickly and take the trash and junk with him. Another, in May 2026, asked about a pile of packing and moving boxes, got them removed the next day, and noted the crew arrived exactly on time. Stairs come up again and again. A March 2026 customer moving into a third-floor apartment with no elevator wrote that the team managed it with ease and packed the fragile items carefully. That same month, someone else had bundled hardwood floors and construction debris hauled down from a third-floor Somerville condo, also with no elevator, at a price they called reasonable. When another company cancelled on an out-of-state move in April 2026, this crew took over the furniture loading. The Brockton company says it has been at this five years, covering the Boston area, and it also does furniture assembly, TV mounting and estate or garage cleanouts, for homes and businesses. Its Google average is 4.9 across 35 ratings. Customers tend to name the person who showed up — Samuel J., who one April 2026 customer said helped quickly, asked for little and left everything clean; Sam in a January 2026 review; Pierre in April 2026. One January 2026 job went differently, and it is about billing rather than the work. That customer, who found the company through TaskRabbit, wrote that after the job the crew asked them to cancel the project on the platform and pay directly, promising no cancellation fee would follow — and a couple of days later the fee arrived anyway. They still praised the speed and the handling of the equipment, but rated it 2 stars. One more thing to square away up front: the Thumbtack profile for this business is written for a different brand, PrimeShift Movers, and claims 8 years in business where the company's own site says five. This is a sensible call for a local move with stairs, or a cleanout where the debris has to come down them. Book and pay through whatever platform you found them on, get the cancellation terms in writing, and settle the crew size and the hourly rate before the truck shows up.
