Joe or Joseph is named in 13 of Pro Handypainters' 35 reviews, and the Danbury company's jobs run from a whole-house paint job to a cabinet fix. In a May 2026 Angi review, a customer hired Joe to paint an entire house and a two-story garage and says he handled every change request without hesitation. Another May 2026 reviewer says the final cost matched the quote. In a June 2024 Thumbtack review, Joe came right out with a quote and finished the painting project two days later. A July 2023 Thumbtack reviewer describes a week-long job on a large house by Joseph and his crew: rotted roof fascia replaced, window sills and the deck repaired, the deck painted and stained, and part of the house repainted. An August 2023 customer had the house power washed before selling it. The older work is handyman work. In an October 2021 review, Joseph built a workbench, shelves and shutters on a shed. A March 2022 Thumbtack reviewer says Jose spent one day on 100-year-old interior doors that would not close or latch, and they now close. In a December 2019 review, Joseph fixed a cabinet two days after calling back. In a November 2019 review, a customer says Mr. Jo removed part of a floating cork floor so a plumber could work on the sewer main, then stopped answering calls and texts about coming back to reinstall it; the customer adds that he insisted on half the job paid by a check made out to cash, gave no receipt, and charged Connecticut sales tax. In a June 2020 review, a customer who hired the company to repair loose bluestone steps says the riser lights ended up crooked and sticking out, with mortar stains left on the bluestone. Pro Handypainters LLC holds an active Connecticut home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0672018. It shows 4.6 stars on each of Thumbtack (59 ratings), HomeAdvisor (67) and Angi (67).
