profishant, Inc

profishant, Inc. is a New Bedford-based pest control company — veteran-owned, according to a philanthropic partner's writeup — that also runs food-safety and HACCP consulting for local businesses. On Google it holds a 5★ average from 358 ratings, and the volume behind that number is real: 285 written reviews stretch back to 2021. The pattern that repeats across years of reviews is longevity — customers describe eight, ten, even more than a decade with the company, for both residential accounts and small businesses. A seafood processor and several childcare centers are named as commercial clients relying on the company for sanitary, pest-free grounds, and one business describes more than a decade of HACCP consulting as making profishant 'a trusted partner' in its food-safety work (a 2025 review). On the residential side, recent reviews describe technicians clearing an active wasp nest, keeping ticks and mosquitoes off a property enough that a family could sit outside late into the night without bug issues, and quarterly visits that keep a 200-year-old house's usual 'critters' out of the walls (a 2025 account). One 2-star review, from 2025, describes a spray treatment that didn't reach as far back on the property as the initial walkthrough had promised — the company returned and extended coverage on the next visit, but the customer felt the original agreement wasn't honored the first time. It's the lone specific complaint sitting inside an otherwise consistently positive record. This is a fit for anyone who wants a recurring pest program — ants, ticks, mosquitoes, rodents — with the same technicians returning season after season, or a business that needs food-safety consulting alongside pest control. Worth confirming treatment boundaries up front if a property has specific areas that do or don't need spraying.
