Proscape, LLC is a Methuen, MA landscaping company whose five Google reviews split sharply along an unusual line: a condo association and a neighborhood contract that reviewers say went badly, alongside individual homeowners who describe real satisfaction with maintenance and a hardscape project. Google shows a 2.9-star average from 13 ratings. The most detailed accounts are the negative ones. In a 2026 review, an owner in a Methuen condominium association describes a $33,000 landscaping contract not being kept up: grass left ten inches tall, weeks between visits, and $9,000 of paid-for bark mulch that hadn't been spread. A 2022 review describes a similar pattern for a different community contract — debris left at several homes when the season ended. A 2025 review separately describes plowed snow being pushed onto a neighboring property and causing damage. On the residential side, the picture looks different. In a 2023 review, a longtime customer described years of reliable spring and fall cleanups and grass maintenance, then singled out a stone-and-brick patio and fire pit install as especially detailed, high-quality work. A shorter 2025 review calls the work the best the customer has hired in years, though without describing the job itself. With only five reviews on file, this is a thin public record, but the negative ones are specific and recent, and they cluster around larger, multi-property contracts rather than single-yard jobs. If you're hiring for a homeowners' association or a shared property, ask for references from a similar-scale, currently active contract before signing — the residential feedback here is more reassuring than the community-scale feedback.
I'm an owner in Stonecleave Village Condominiums in Methuen. Proscape has been selected by the board and does not provide adequate service. The contract for landscaping is $33k and the grass is 10" tall and weeds have taken hold. They don't show up for weeks at a time and when they do they don't lower the blade enough to make an appreciable difference. I assume it's to minimize the amount of waste they would need to haul away. We have as part of the contract a cost of $9K for bark mulch which hasn't been spread out yet. Last year it appeared they used old bark mulch from a clean up some where as it was dull, dry and loaded with carpenter ants. I would not recommend this company. In some of the photos I place a 16 ounce Poland Springs bottle for reference. The pics say Hamilton Park apartments which is incorrect. Google pulled the nearest known address to my location as Stonecleave Village is just behind.
Great company did an amazing job. I’ve hired many different companies over the years but nothing and I mean nothing compares to the work they did. The owner is a wonderful guy and did me right. Thanks Proscape!!!!
Plow’s neighbors snow on our property instead of theirs. Damaging my property and doesn’t seem to care. No respect
I have used proscape for many years. They have done an incredible job maintaining my property handling spring/fall clean ups, grass maintenance, and even dumpster rentals. But just recently they out did themselves with the install of my patio. The stone and brick work is so detailed and top quality. I can’t wait to enjoy the new fire pit with family and friends. Thanks again proscape for making my dream a reality.
Extremely poor work. They did not uphold their end of their contract, and left several homes in our community with leaves and other debris at the end of their season.
