Pulla General Contractor LLC

Despite the general-contractor name, Pulla General Contractor LLC describes itself on its website as handling tree removal, trimming, pruning and stump grinding across Connecticut, and as family run for 25 years. Its Houzz profile adds landscaping and masonry services to that list. A recent customer lost 20 trees in the big 4th of July storm, said Pulla cleaned up everything, and hired them for more work too. A recent customer says Claudio Pulla and his team have done several projects for them, from tree work to landscaping and mulching, and always arrive promptly and work to the end of the day. A 2026 customer said they cut down a tree over three stories high, trimmed two more and ground down the stump. A 2026 BuildZoom reviewer, a contractor themselves, said they had used Claudio before for tree removal and just hired him again. A 2025 customer said Claudio's men took down a tree after an earlier visit in which four trees were taken down, and cleaned up well both times. A 2024 customer said Claudio and his team transformed their backyard over the course of 3 days and were careful around the rest of the property. A 2023 customer said Claudio brought his “spider” to take down two very large ash trees. A 2020 BuildZoom customer with dangerous hanging branches after a storm said Claudio came the very next day to cut them down along with large leaning trees, chipped the wood and blew off the debris. A 2018 BuildZoom customer who hired Juan for a three-part overhaul of a 2-acre property said the tree removal was done very well, but the spring clean up was “half-assed” and the woods were never touched. That customer said they paid $6000 and that he did not come back to complete the project.
