Q-Team Tree Service says it has worked in Southwestern Maine for over 30 years and that it joined forces with Cook's Tree Service in 2007. Its website lists a service area that includes Sebago, Naples, Casco, Raymond, Bridgton, Windham and Standish. A recent customer who has hired Q-Team several times for tree removal said the latest job took down several hemlocks damaged by pileated woodpeckers, a damaged maple and beech trees very close to an outbuilding. That customer said Jeremy, Scott and the entire crew did it over a couple of days, and that each time the job was done right, on time and at fair pricing. A recent customer who has used Q-Team for thirty years on two Lakes Region properties said they would trust no one else with pruning, take-downs or stump grinding, and that every step from the initial estimate to the final clean-up was done with care for the property. In a 2025 review, a customer who said they had relied on Q-Team for over twenty-five years described work from the initial lot clearing to tree work after storms or on dead trees. That 2025 customer said everyone they dealt with, from Robert Fogg to the entire team, was a pleasure to interact with. A 2025 reviewer in York said Maine DOT identified Q-Team as working for CMP when trees were dropped on the reviewer's property without permission, including onto a leach field, and chippers were emptied there. That 2025 reviewer estimated they probably did $10K of damage and wrote that management would not be truthful about the issues or take ownership unless forced to. The same 2025 reviewer said the crew that came back was polite and professional.
Over the years we have hired Q-Team several times for tree removal on our properties and each time they do the job right, on time and have fair pricing. The most recent work involved taking down several hemlock trees that were heavily damaged by pileated woodpeckers, a maple tree that also sustained damage and some gnarly beech trees that were in very close proximity to an outbuilding. The group of trees collectively created a lot of shade and the beech in particular, gave the yard a crowded and confined feel despite our efforts to keep the lower limbs pruned. Over the span of a couple days, Jeremy, Scott and the entire crew did an absolutely fantastic job and once again, we could not be happier with the resulting improvement to our lot - the difference is stunning! Like all of the other times that we have used Q-Team, every aspect, from the initial contact, to the site visit and then to the completion of the job, was absolutely seamless. For these reasons and the fact that we have always been able to consistently and reliably count on Q-Team to get it done and get it done right, we highly recommend Q-Team! Many thanks!
For thirty years, Q-Team has been my go-to for tree work on two properties in the Lakes Region and I can't imagine entrusting pruning, take-downs or stump grinding to anyone else. They have top-notch, well-maintained equipment; their workers are efficient, talented and conscientious; and at every step from the initial estimate to the final clean-up was conducted with the utmost care and respect for my property. I highly recommend Q-Team!
We've relied on Q-team for over twenty five years, starting with the initial lot clearing to the usual Maine tree work due to storms or dead trees. Over the years, their ability to handle tall, difficult trees has only improved due to what appears to be an ongoing purchase of what I think are some of the best machines for cost effectively and safely getting their team up high to deal with any type of tall trees. Both I and my neighbors have been satisfied with their service for years, highly recommended. Plus, everyone I've ever dealt with, from Robert Fogg to the entire team, has always been a pleasure to interact with.
Funny story- I live in York, was on vacation for a week, came home to a 100 ft Pine cut down laying across my leach field. Maine DOT identified Q-Team was working for CPM and without permission dropped a number of trees including ones 30 feet in my property, dropped trees on my leach field. They also emptied their chippers on my property. They probably did $10K of damage to my property. CMP came back apologized and hired another company to come out and pull out the wood. But I'm blown away for the total lack of respect of my property. Edit: I would like to respond to Q-Team's comments. Multiple CMP employees, Maine DOT, and other certified Arborists expressed deep concern about Q-Team's professionalism on my property. CMP apologized and made them come back and remove the wood. I felt the majority of interaction with Q-Team reps during this situation was deceitful as they were unaware I was communicating directly with CMP- they cared more about a bad review than fixing the situation. They also attempted to blame another tree company for the damage. My overall personal opinion having dealt with this situation, the crew that came back was polite and professional. If something does go wrong- in this case it went very wrong, management will not be truthful in addressing the issues and take ownership to fix it unless forced to.
