- Stump grinding — ground stumps after felling and hauling trees away
- Price praised — a customer was pleased with the price
Veteran Tree Care says it was founded in 2019 by Iraq War veteran Jonathan Wood and provides tree services to residential and commercial clients in southern Maine. The company says it offers 24/7 emergency service. One customer said John and his crew felled four trees and carted them away, and he then returned and ground the stumps. That customer had him take down three more trees and limb a couple more with branches on the garage roof, and was pleased with the price. A customer with a rotted maple said they took it down, ground three stumps and cleaned everything up so you couldn't tell they had been there. A customer who had two oaks removed said they cleaned up afterwards. A customer who has had a handful of trees removed by the company praised the clean-up after the removal. A customer said they arrived on time, did a good job and cleaned up.

Incredible service, took my giant rotted maple down, ground three giant stumps and cleaned everything up after that you couldn't even tell they were here. Very professional and pleasant workers. Couldn't be happier with what they did or the price. Highly recommend!

John and his crew felled 4 trees and carted them away. He then returned and ground my stumps. They did such a great job I had him take down three more trees and limb couple more that had branches on the roof of my garage. Great job, great crew, and at a great price.

We’ve had a handful of trees removed by Veteran Tree Care and they’ve been phenomenal each time. Excellent clean up after the removal, would never have even known they took down some trees. Highly recommend!
