Quality Painting

Several customers have accused Quality Painting of taking payment for work that was left unfinished. In September 2024, a homeowner said a $1,200 payment had been made more than a year earlier and that repeated promises to return had ended in missed visits and an unfinished, messy deck. A March 2024 customer described unfinished painting after paying upfront, four attempted reschedulings and finally hiring someone else to finish. Quality Painting is listed by BBB as a painting contractor at 16 Grove St in Milford, New Hampshire. Its BBB grade is C+, with one complaint on file. Google listings show 4.4 stars from 31 ratings and 4 stars from 33 ratings. The complaints include the finish itself. In March 2023, a customer who hired the company to repaint a home's entire interior said visits were repeatedly missed after the deposit. They described blue streaks in paint matched to their chosen taupe color, inadequate patching and patches left unpainted, then hired another company to redo the job. An October 2022 customer said molding was painted but an exterior wall remained unfinished after near-full payment; they also said the company stopped responding and did not answer their BBB complaint. In April 2025, a reviewer alleged that Josh took a friend's deposit, never showed up, made repeated excuses and would not return the money. The reviewer said their friend was pressing charges. Other homeowners have described completed work they liked. An April 2025 reviewer praised exterior painting and painting in two rooms, including the time taken and attention to detail. In May 2024, a customer credited Josh with painting an interior with cathedral ceilings without brush or roller marks, and staining the front and side of the house. A July 2024 reviewer said Josh accommodated repeated closing delays and completed the home's interior in one day, the day after closing. In June 2023, a customer said Josh fit a bedroom into a tight schedule and Gregg painted it on a Sunday by the required date. Another customer that month said Josh came to quote a basement-ceiling repaint and the job was completed the next day, with Glenn doing the painting.
