A ceiling fixture that should have been an easy fix turned out to be a faulty switch; in a December 2025 Angi review, the customer wrote that Elvin figured out the wiring setup and traced it down, and was neat and efficient doing it. Quality Restoration is a Meriden handyman business, and a December 2021 customer described Elvin as the owner of the company. The jobs in its Angi reviews are small and varied. An October 2024 customer had wood double front doors fixed and painted in a color she picked, with new handles and lock, at a price she called very reasonable for the work. Another October 2024 review describes bookshelves installed in several rooms and says Elvin is trustworthy with access to the home when the customer is away. In July 2024 reviews, customers describe an outdoor spigot and inside shut-off valve replaced the same day, with a quick return when a replacement part had an issue; a leaking window repaired, with an offer to replace a bird-damaged screen; and garage entry gaps sealed for a pest-proofing project. A June 2024 review mentions a long piece of siding replaced close to the ground. A November 2024 customer wrote that he can repair and install drywall, trim work, install doors, paint, do minor electrical and repair household items. Its written reviews run from 2018 to 2025. Angi and HomeAdvisor each show 5.0★ from 31 ratings, and its BBB grade is A+. Its Connecticut home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0647430, is active.
Arrived on time for what I thought would be an easy fix for an overhead ceiling fixture. He had to figure out the wiring setup and traced it down to a faulty switch. Elvin was pleasant to deal with neat and efficient.
Elvin is very responsive. His quality of work is outstanding. He does it all. He can repair and install drywall, trim work, install doors, paint, minor electrical, and repair household items.! I highly recommend Elvin.
Elvin is a real craftsman. He installed bookshelves in several rooms and he will do a kitchen tiling project for me later this week. He is very easy to work with and is generally responsive via text. (If he says heâ ll be there at 9:00am, thatâ s when heâ ll show up. ) Iâ ve given him access to my home when Iâ m not there and heâ s entirely trustworthy. His fees are very reasonable, in my opinion. I will definitely be using Elvin for other projects as they come up.
Elvin is detailed oriented, thoughtful and knows how to connect with customers to make decisions to get the outcome you are looking for. Heâ s a great guy and an excellent problem solver! Looking forward to working with him again.
Elvin is great. He fixed my wood double front doors and applied paint that I had picked out, as well as new handles/lock. He took his time, was very polite, and made sure everything was in order before in left. My front doors look amazing. Will be hiring him again for more work around the house. Also, his pricing was very reasonable and on point for the amount of repair and painting work he did.
