R&A Renovations offers interior and exterior painting for residential and commercial properties, according to its BBB profile. Its website names a service area that runs from Stamford, Greenwich and Westport up to Newtown, New Fairfield and Brookfield, and east to New Haven. A recent customer says the painters started on a Monday, said they would be done by Friday, and finished the project on time, with a clean-up before leaving. A recent reviewer hired Ricky to power wash and stain a deck and repair the staircase, and says everyone was on time. Ricky also repaired a plumbing leak that had caused ceiling damage to the apartment below, a recent customer writes. One recent customer, not close enough to check the work in person, says Ricky sent frequent updates. A recent reviewer says RNA painting completed a job at their house, the second time they had used the company. In a 2025 review, a customer described a deck renovation in which Ricky and his team notified them in real time of challenges they faced. A 2025 customer said the team handled carpentry, prep work and painting and repaired the wooden steps and porch, slowed only by weather. A 2025 reviewer named the owner as Ricky. A 2024 customer had the house painted and asked for oil priming of the entire house; that customer said Ricky showed the price difference between the standard water-based primer and the oil-based one. A 2024 reviewer said Ricky's estimate was detailed and included options they had not considered, and that Ricky himself noted a few touch-ups. A 2023 customer said they had a duplex painted.
Awesome job! The painters were on time every day and finished the project on time. They started Mon and said they’d be done by Fri. Which I didn’t think would happen given past experiences. The painters were very pleasant and did a great clean-up before leaving. Will definitely use again!
Ricky did an excellent job repairing a plumbing leak that resulted in ceiling damage to the apt below us. He was also reasonably priced, punctual, kept things clean, and had excellent communication throughout the process. Glad to have made the connection!
What an amazing experience working with R&A Painting and Renovations. Ricky and his team were great. ‘ The attention to detail, professionalism and affordability was on point! I highly recommend them for your next painting project.
Great experience working with Ricky and his crew. Ricky made sure that everything went according to plan. My property was properly cared for, the paint job was impeccable, price was more than fair and I am very pleased with the end result. Would be glad to recommend this company to my neighbors and friends.
I hired Ricky to power wash and stain my deck, as well as repairing the staircase. Ricky and his crew did a fantastic and professional job. Everyone was on time and very courteous. Did a great job at a reasonable price. Will know who to call for future work.
