We were very dissapointed with these guys. They claimed to have done pine floors, but it was apparent that they never had experience with these type of floors. After agreeing on a written estimate and discussing how the job would be done, we gave them 1/3 of the estimate. The sanding was harder and took longer than they expected, so they charged us more than estimated and would not continue until we paid them. Also, some sections of the floor has a high gloss and some sections have an eggshell finish. We would not recommend them to anyone
Freshening a place for sale, work quality was acceptable and intentionally the quickest most cost effective approach...unfortunately there was follow on work required when they were through (broken blind, damaged cabinet trim, incomplete appliance cleaning, trash left behind, my personal equipment used without request and left uncleaned, etc)..Mike promised to make things right by refunding me $100..its been 3 months, no payment has been received, and they refuse to return any calls or communications..for what I requested the work was fair to good, but the follow up (for only $100 on a $4k job) has been very disappointing..
Wood Flooring Refinish
A decent value for the price -- much less expensive than other contractors quotes. A few issues: Didn't do as good a job color-matching the wood filler used to patch nail holes in flooring as I would have hoped. urethane finish not uniform near transition from wood flooring to tile. Dried joint compound left on carpet. Small drywall dust piles from sanding walls left on stairs.
