R. Piro Electric

An AC that kept shutting off turned out to be a very dangerous loose wire, and the technician cancelled his other calls that day to get it running again — that September 2026 Google review is one of a steady run for R. Piro Electric, a Trumbull, Connecticut electrician with 4.9 stars from 220 ratings on Google and 4.9 from 57 on Angi. The company says it has been in business 11 years and serves Fairfield and New Haven. The jobs in its 2026 reviews range from small to large. An October 2026 customer had a new generator installed. A June 2026 customer had recessed lights and ceiling fans put in by Rex, who explained the installation and left no trace of the work. In August 2026, a customer with a big job said Rob told them the city would require the hallway too, which turned out to be right, and met the inspector before the work. A September 2026 customer called Thursday with an emergency and had a crew there Friday. Older reviews describe panel work. A December 2025 customer had the main breaker panel replaced and a 240V Level 2 EV charger installed outside. In June 2025, Rob re-did an old panel the customer described as a tangled web. An April 2025 customer, on a third job with the company, had every outlet and switch in a 95-year-old house replaced and a 35-year-old Casablanca fan repaired. One May 2023 review is a complaint: two calls about an outlet went unreturned, and the customer hired another electrician. Robert P. Piro holds an active Connecticut electrician licence, ELC.0200504-E1. BBB grades the business A+.
