A warm electrical socket, and Glenn at the door the same night to replace it with a safer one: that is how one recent customer of Red Sky at Night Electric described the call. The company's website lists electrical work, panel upgrades and troubleshooting, names a service area running from Waldoboro, Rockland and Camden to Damariscotta, Boothbay, Bristol and Dresden, and says it has been in business 25 years. The state registry lists Maine electrician license MS60022189 as active, with Glenn Bradley Foltz as holder of record. A recent customer said Glenn fixed their heat pumps in two trips after weeks of calling others who did not return calls. One customer said he fit them in on short notice and helped diagnose and fix an outdoor wiring problem. A customer who needed a job done in a short time frame said he got them in, and that his son worked with him. A 2026 customer said he fixed two problems in the first 10 minutes, was back the next day to finish the work, and took the old wiring and breaker box with him. A 2025 customer said Glenn replaced faulty outlets on a tiny house in Rockport, Maine. A 2025 customer with an emergency at a walk-in freezer at their market in Friendship said he returned the call within a few minutes and arrived in about an hour. A 2025 customer said Glenn installed a smart thermostat and a permanent line for a heater the previous owners had run on an extension cord. A recent customer with a broken heat pump said Glenn pushed a follow-up visit back two days, then did not show, and that finishing the job took nearly a month; that customer also said pricing details came only after they insisted. A 2026 customer described multiple trips, jobs not completed and a failed CMP inspection, said they had to threaten small claims court over the prepaid last portion, and said a ceiling fan still did not work.
Wonderful experience with Glenn when one of my electrical sockets was abnormally warm, he was able to come out the same night and help replace the sockets with safer and better ones.
Best experience I have had while mildy panicking over a warm electrical socket. Glenn came out and was able to fix the problem in minutes. I definitely recommend this company!
Great service and great employees
Glenn came out and fixed our heat pumps after we had been calling people for weeks and no one else was returning our calls. We have a newborn and were getting nervous with the colder weather setting in and the heat not working in our house! He had everything fixed with just 2 trips out to our house. We will definitely use his services again in the future for any other electrical needs!
Glenn is the consumate pro. His work was top-notch and delivered on time and on price. He uses the tools of business - eg quoting and invoicing software - almost as well as he uses the tools of his trade which is both as a master electrician but also HVAC and general contracting. Impossible to recommend him more highly.
