Regal Replacement Windows

Regal Replacement Windows is a Portland window and door replacement company; its website says it is family-owned and has served Portland and surrounding communities since 2000. Its Better Business Bureau page shows an A+ grade and accreditation. A recent Google customer said the owners were very involved in the process from the initial estimate through installation, and that the company places a high value on using Maine-made products, even if that means the process takes a little longer. A recent customer wrote that the team was so careful in removing and replacing the windows that you could hardly tell a job was done apart from a few paint chips out of place. A 2017 customer who had just bought a home in Gorham said Bob and his crew replaced more than half the windows in the house on the first day, and that all 14 windows, including some extra sill and trim work, were later completed. A 2017 customer said Robert Burkhardt replaced twelve windows in the dining room, work that required new framing, new trim and a second floor installation, and also primed and painted the interior and exterior trim. A 2017 customer wrote that Bob built a piece that attached to the window frame so an existing custom blind could still be used. A 2019 customer said Bob and his team honored their estimate even when the work became more intensive because of wood rot. A 2023 Houzz customer gave one star, saying the contractor did not communicate and calling the office staff absolutely terrible, while describing the owner as appearing to be a nice man. A 2017 customer said Bob told them replacing several sills was figured into the estimate, but no sills were replaced and the final cost was not adjusted. A 2021 customer described a long wait for the job and put it down to the pandemic.
