- Accessible tub update — cut out refinish for handicap needs in 2026
Renew your Tub Refinishing is a tub refinishing business in Norton, MA. In a 2026 Google review, Alex refinished a 1960's original porcelain tub that was chipped and bubbling on the inside and out. That 2026 review said he came in with ventilation so the house didn't smell, and the tub was ready to use about 48 hours later. A separate 2026 review said Alex scheduled quick and easy after being sent pictures of the tub, made sure to vent and seal off the area, and worked hard to strip a tub that was originally in rough shape. In another 2026 review, from Bellingham, Alex made a cut out refinish process the choice to update a bathtub for the writers' handicap needs, after the old tub had become dangerous to step over into. A 2025 review said Alex did a beautiful job reglazing their tub.

Alex of Renew Your Tub is great. I was able to send him pictures of our tub and he scheduled quick and easy. He was very professional and made sure to vent and seal off the area. The tub was originally in rough shape but he worked hard to strip it and it looks brand new. We are so pleased with how it turned out. He is very responsive and cares about his work. Would recommend!

We are so happy to find and recommend Alex Barbosa / Renew your tub refinishing ! We lived with the old tub since 1995 until it became dangerous to step over into the tub. Alex was very professional, courteous and made the cut out refinish process a perfect and affordable choice to update our bathtub for our handicap needs! The bathroom never looked so good and now functional too .... Thank you Alex from the Currans in Bellingham!

Excellent work on refinishing my 1960’s original porcelain tub! It was chipped and bubbling on the inside and out. When Alex was finished with it, I thought he had purchased a new tub and installed it. He came in with ventilation so the house didn't smell at all and the work finished up pretty quick. Tub is ready to use about 48 hours later! Highly recommend!
