This is the Hooksett, New Hampshire operation long known as Rescon Basement Solutions -- and worth knowing up front, the company was acquired and renamed Groundworks in 2025. Rescon now shows up as an alternate name on BBB, Angi and HomeAdvisor, and even a couple of 2025 reviewers refer to it as "Groundworks Manchester." It's the same address, and the same crews founder Christopher Brown built his name on for two decades, just under new corporate ownership. There's a deep review history here -- 35 reviews from 2004 through 2026 -- and for most of that stretch, the story is a consistent one: water in a basement, a sump pump or drainage system installed, and years of dry basements afterward. One 2019 review described a Rescon system installed a decade earlier that finally needed a pump replaced, and got a same-day fix through the emergency line. Reviews from 2025 and 2026 describe the same kind of organized, well-communicated crews -- Matt A, Rory and William on a crawl space encapsulation, Doug and his team on a three-day waterproofing job -- doing thorough work and cleaning up after themselves. It isn't uniform. Two reviews from 2016 and 2017, describing larger basement-finishing projects, cited communication breakdowns, lost permits and slipping timelines. And in March 2026, a customer reported the crew smelled of marijuana on arrival, that no one came to inspect the work in progress -- an inspector didn't show up until more than a month later -- and that displaced dirt was left across the yard. Worth asking about directly, given the ownership change: who's actually running the crew now, whether the warranty on any older Rescon-era work carries over under Groundworks, and what the in-process inspection process looks like today given the March 2026 complaint. HomeAdvisor's page oddly flags the business as possibly closed, even though its most recent review is from this past July -- almost certainly a leftover from the 2025 rebrand rather than a real closure, but worth confirming directly before booking. Beyond waterproofing basics, the company's listed services cover crawl space repair, foundation crack and wall repair, concrete lifting, and interior drainage systems.
“I had the exact same problem you describe and Rescon ( they’ve since been sold and changed name) put a perimeter drain at the base of two of the walls that feed to a single sump . Has worked like magic. Best money spent on home improvement ent ever.”
“our slab is an absolute last resort and at that point you may as well move. If you have a basement in New Hampshire with a very high water table and a very permeable soil, you absolutely need a foundation drain and sump pump as well as the proper discharge. I’ve worked with Rezko before out of Hooksett to install a larger sump pump, dig and underground discharge pump far away from the house and install the battery back up system. I found them fair priced and very good work. also make sure you have gutters on the house. Yes, you’ll have to deal with snow an”
Had my crawl space encapsulated. The three men, Matt A, Rory and William worked together as a team. Did an excellent job! Very polite, explained everything, and cleaned up afterwards.
Just finished a visit with Foreman Doug and his crew, Devin, Sean, and Mason. Waterproofing the basement and super sound and solid work! Doug was professional and very good at keeping me in the loop with the project over the 3 day visit, and created a solid system that we are confident will keep water out of the basement forever. Above and beyond as well with problem solving when having to find solutions to fit our basement layout, all with a solid financing option/great price and 5 year warranty/ yearly inspection plan. If you are stuck with water in your basement, get Groundworks working for you ASAP!
The team that was sent smelled of weed, first thing I noticed. The work was done quickly, so that was good, but they didn't get an in process inspection and instead sent over an inspector more than a month after the work was done. The dirt that was displaced is just all over my yard now, and I have a bunch of big holes where they didn't pack any dirt. The company offered to fill them but I never heard back after that offer. As part of the work, they dug around the chimney, and it appears they caused it to break. They claim no damage was done, but I'm finding many pieces of concrete and brick strewn over my yard.
Everything went very well. Josh, Dave and Tommy were very professional, efficient, and always willing to answer any questions I had. I can't recommend them highly enough.
Joe,James and Bobby did an excellent job replacing the sump pump And drains. My husband and I were so impressed with their abilities and how hard working they were. I would highly recommend Ground works Manchester to anyone who needs the same work done. Thanks to all the gentlemen for their professionalism and work ethic
