Patch.com reports that Virginia company Groundworks purchased Rescon Basement Solutions of Hooksett, Portsmouth, and Burlington, Massachusetts. A wmur.com news page describes Rescon Basement Solutions as being in the business of waterproofing basements. A 2024 Reddit commenter in r/massachusetts said a single sump pump installed by Rescon, for a fraction of the price of its drain system, had solved the problem for going on two years. That 2024 commenter said Rescon did a very neat job and completed it in a single day. A February 2026 commenter in r/newhampshire said Rescon put a perimeter drain at the base of two of the walls that feed to a single sump, and that it has worked like magic. A 2025 commenter in r/newhampshire said Rescon did a sump pump for them two years earlier, for about $1600, in maybe half the day. That 2025 commenter also said Rescon did not really talk about the details and put the outlet at the edge of the commenter's leech field. A 2024 commenter in r/massachusetts said Rescon, Erickson and B-dry all seemed like salesmen more than contractors.
