Rescue 1 Pest & Termite Control

Rescue 1 Pest & Termite Control is a Torrington exterminator that people call when something with a stinger has moved in. Thumbtack shows 4.9 stars from 366 ratings and lists it as a Top Pro every year from 2018 to 2025. The 2026 Thumbtack reviews are about wasps, hornets and rodents. In June 2026, a customer said Joe came a day after the call, found a hidden wasp nest inside a light fixture, removed it and blocked further entry. A July 2026 customer said the team came out the same day to empty, clean out and sanitize a garden shed that mice had taken over for the winter. A May 2026 customer had a shed treated for carpenter bees and said the crew explained if and when retreatment would be needed. In an August 2025 review, a customer said Zach came the same day to remove a nest of white-faced hornets after they explained their concern for their special-needs child. Older Angi accounts describe the same kind of work: a 2022 customer said Jonathon was thorough in eradicating an in-ground yellow jacket nest, and a 2023 customer with a minor termite issue said that, asked about ants, the company suggested a readily available, easy product instead of pushing more business. Two complaints are mild: a November 2021 customer called the service a bit too expensive for the effort, and an October 2021 customer said the company doesn't do invoices, which was inconvenient for their HOA. Angi and HomeAdvisor each show 4.8 stars from 310 ratings. Connecticut's registry shows its pesticide applicator license, PMBR.03397, as active. HomeAdvisor and Angi list a trade license, PMCS.0004237.
